Like many immigrants, we arrived carrying dreams, courage, and a deep longing for the feeling of home. Through every challenge and celebration, one thing kept us grounded: being together.
What started as a family adapting to a new country slowly became something more — a desire to create connection, warmth, and a place where people could truly feel welcome.

Bia is the heart and creative soul behind Vanilla. As the café’s owner and in-house culinary creator, she brings together a lifetime of experience, blending her background as a baker in Brazil with a refined education in artistic design.
Every detail at Vanilla reflects her vision — from flavors and textures to presentation and atmosphere. While you may not always see her on the café floor, her presence is felt in every recipe.
Bia believes that food is a form of care. Her work is guided by patience, intuition, and a deep respect for craft —S always striving for balance, comfort, and authenticity.
